Birth Doulas provide support before, during, and immediately after the birth of a child. Pregnancy and childbirth can be a rollercoaster of emotions, and doula support can help you have a positive and empowering birth experience.

How can a Birth Doula support you?

My goal as your doula is to help you have an empowered birth. This could include:

Education about the childbirth process including potential options, interventions, and evidence-based practices to help you make informed decisions.
Creating your birth preferences documentation.
Designing your desired birth experience -- think location, sights, smells, tactile experience, etc.
Presence throughout the birth process as desired.
Post-partum check-ins and connection to local resources.
